Early Morning Coffee
Freshly brewed coffee and a variety of teas are made available at 7:00am, in the dining room, to give you that wake up call and a head start on breakfast.
A complete and cooked breakfast is served each morning, in the dining room, offering the traditional breakfast dishes, baked goods, juices, cereals, coffee and tea.
The Barnacle Cafe, open daily, also provides sandwiches, chowder, salads, baked goods and hot and cold beverages for your enjoyment at the cafe, or packed to go.
Each night of the week the Chef prepares a variety of different dishes to satisfy those hungry hikers who have walked the island or lighter dishes for those who have not been quite as active. The Dining Room opens at 6pm. The menu is based upon Maine’s abundant fresh fare, including locally caught lobster for which Maine is so well known, local scallops and mussels, together with grilled and roasted meats, and a delicious selection of vegetarian dishes. Soups, chowders and salads, and home baked desserts complement these dishes and offer an exciting start and a mouth watering finish to a relaxing dinner.
Special Diets can be catered to, although we do request that advance notice be given for those that take more preparation. Please understand that nothing is readily available on the island and all food items have to be ordered in advance and delivered on the boat to the island. Gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan selections available everyday.
Wine and Beer are available at The Barnacle as an off-premise item and can be chilled and served to you in the dining room as we, together with the other food establishments on the island, are not permitted to sell alcohol. You may also bring wine, beer or liquor to the island.
Dress is casual in the Dining Room.
